Job Seeker Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
These Job Seeker Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of https://dsohire.com as a job seeker / candidate. By creating an account, uploading a resume, or applying to a posted job, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our umbrella Terms of Service, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services as a job seeker.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country where you are applying for jobs.
3. Your account and profile
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, including resume content, work history, education, and contact information. You agree to keep your information current and to safeguard your password.
4. Resume and profile content: your rights and the license you grant us
You retain ownership of your resume, profile content, and any documents you upload (collectively, "Candidate Content"). By uploading Candidate Content, you grant DSO Hire LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit Candidate Content as needed to operate the Services and to deliver Candidate Content to employers when you apply to their job postings.
You represent and warrant that: (a) Candidate Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge; (b) Candidate Content is your own or you have rights to use it; and (c) Candidate Content does not infringe any third party's rights and complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Applications and communications
When you apply to a job posting, your Candidate Content (including your resume, profile, and any application messages) is delivered to the employer who posted that job. The employer becomes an independent controller of that information from the moment of delivery, subject to the employer's own privacy practices. DSO Hire LLC is not responsible for how an employer handles your Candidate Content after it has been delivered.
You may receive communications from employers, from us, and from any service providers we use to deliver email or messaging. You can manage marketing communications preferences in your account; transactional communications (such as confirmations and account notifications) cannot be turned off while your account is active.
6. No employment relationship; no guarantee
DSO Hire LLC is a job-board platform. We do not employ job seekers, do not represent job seekers, and do not act as a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer of record. We do not guarantee that you will find a job, receive an interview, or hear back from any employer. Hiring decisions and the entire employment relationship are between you and the employer.
7. Acceptable use
Your use of the Services is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, including the prohibition on submitting false information, scraping, automated mass-applications, or interfering with other users.
8. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect about you, how we use it, and your rights. Please read it carefully. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, subject to the limits of applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time through the in-product account closure tool. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to comply with legal obligations.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided AS IS without warranties. Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD $100). See Sections 8 and 9 of the umbrella Terms of Service for the full disclaimers and limitations, which are incorporated here by reference.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.
12. Changes; contact
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version on https://dsohire.com. Continued use after the new effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: info@dsohire.com.
